There’s Nowhere Else to Go... Vasek and Pavel have Finished!!!
Here we go! I’ve just talked to the guys who have just successfully completed the crossing of the lake Baikal! Well, what else to say... Congratulations to you Guys!
We are almost there & the Technology Works Again
It must have been either a miracle or we just had a very bad luck yesterday. We were not even surprised that the solar panel broke two days ago but when even the laptop broke on us yesterday evening, it was too much to bear.
Problems with Technology Remain
The technology has became the most problematic part of the equipment. Again, problems occurred and the guys were not able to send today’s message.
Baikal 2010 - The Cable Broke Off... Again...
Pavel and Vasek are really sorry but they’ve had another problem with the technology and haven’t been able to send the message today.
Baikal 2010 - The 500th Kilometer!
First, I want to thank to all of you for your encouraging comments which work as a boost of energy at times when we feel down! My leg is doing miraculously better! It’s not completely OK but it does not slow me down now.
What does the word "extreme" mean to you?
Only thanks to the daily updates we write, I’ve still managed to keep track of what day it is... The last few days have fused into one grayish mixture of feelings, experiences, cold and very cold mornings...

I have to tell you something about Pavel - he’s became addicted to that “400th km video” we made a couple of days ago. He watches it over and over every night and only then does he get into his sleeping bag and laughing like crazy goes to sleep... :-))
A Bit About the Technology and the Day When Things Are Huge
Today, I’m going to talk a but about the technology we have here with us as there were number of questions about it in the comments. Moreover, only thanks to the stack of cables and various “gadgets” are we able to send the daily updates so you can read them here. My apologies who’re not very fond of technology :-)

First, I want to add a piece of information to what Pavel said about our diet yesterday. I know that being a vegetarian he probably thinks that meat’s not worth mentioning... :-)
Why Do We Do Things Like This?!
We’re beginning to feel that we’re really tired so please excuse us if the quality of the daily updates declines or if we wander from the subject of pure daily reports and get more “philosophical” at times - we have so much time to THINK that we simply need to share some of these thoughts with someone.
